Our History

D3 Office Group has a rich history in the office supplies market across the Yorkshire region. Through businesses that have been acquired, D3 can trace its roots back to the 1930s via Peace and Taylor in Hull and Timstat Leeds. The business has seen unprecedented change in the make up and feel of its main markets but its focus on innovation, new ideas and great service has allowed the business to thrive and grow.

D3 Computer Supplies & Print was formed by Richard Denley specialising in printed forms and computer consumables

August, 1988

D3 merges with KCS, an office stationery supplier opening a whole new market to D3's existing customersOctober, 1990

As the business expands D3 moves to larger premises in HullOctober, 1990

D3 merges with Peace & Taylor, a commercial stationer that business in Hull in the 1930'sFebruary, 1998

D3 changes its name to D3 Office Group to better reflect its full customer offerJuly, 1998

Land is acquired in Hull and a new site built to accommodate the growing businessSeptember, 2003

Martin Shaw buys a stake in D3 from retiring director Chris Shepherd and joins Richard as equal shareholdersDecember, 2005

Eurobusiness Products Hull acquired and key team members Sue Wood and Julie Morrell join D3April, 2006

Boston Office Solutions near Leeds is acquired bringing experienced team members Jane and Kevin Head and Emma Foster to D3 and establishing a new branch in North YorkshireNovember, 2009
